Judging by the weather, Autumn's well and truly here, and for some of us, that means laying up our boats for the winter months.
As well as all the usual "must-do" things, don't forget that if your boat will be left connected to an electric supply - even if it's only to keep the batteries charged, you'll need to have a Galvanic Isolator connected to prevent hull corrosion and anode use throughout the winter months.
Trust me... you don't want to get back to your boat in March, to find that the hull's started to pit along the waterline, or that the anodes are half gone!
