You do NOT want Galvanic Corrosion!
If there’s anything that can DESTROY a boat, it’s Galvanic Corrosion. It causes pits and sometimes even HOLES in the boat’s metalwork, especially around the waterline. An the problem with hull pitting is that when it’s done, it’s done – it’s impossible to repair. Sure, you can overplate, or puddle weld deep pits (if they are isolated), but in most cases, you’ll have a line of pits around the water margin, because that’s where the oxygen is concentrated.
