Could Your Electric Hook-Up be Rotting Your Boat?

You probably know this already but...

If you are plugged in to an electric hook up - even if it's switched off... you STILL need Galvanic isolation to protect your boats hull, prop' & anodes from corrosion.

That's because Galvanic corrosion doesn't come from the electricity itself... it's from the Earth connection which, is PERMANENTLY connected and never controlled by switches or circuit breakers.

So even if your electric hook up's just connected to keep the batteries topped up, don't forget to fit Galvanic isolation. The simplest way is with one of our plug in Galvanic isolators, that you can fit in a few seconds, and without any tools.
