When you connect to a hookup, Unwanted electrical currents, known as Galvanic currents can cause serious corrosion to your boat.

If your boat has a steel hull, this will look like rust – particularly at the water line. On GRP boats, it’s the outboards/Saildrives etc that suffer. A simple Galvanic Isolator that plugs into the end of your hookup cable can resolve the problem in an instant.
