All electrical installations, including those on boats, have a small amount of AC Electrical Leakage – it’s absolutely normal, and comes from your on board appliances, gadgets like phones, battery chargers, solar etc., and even from the boat’s own wiring.
This leakage can compromise a “normal” Galvanic Isolator, and reduce it’s efficiency. That’s why we fit an AC Bypass Capacitor, which safely filters any AC leakage safely to earth, ensuring that your Galvanic Isolator works as intended, guaranteeing maximum protection for your vessel.
