If you are plugged in to an electric hook up - even if it's just to keep your batteries charged... you STILL need Galvanic isolation to protect your boats hull, prop' & anodes from corrosion.
That's because Galvanic corrosion doesn't come from the electricity itself... it's from the Earth connection and not related to how much power you are using.
