The Gi-120/S/LP is a wire in Marine Galvanic isolator that protects against not only Galvanic currents, but also Earth leakage. 

This Marine Galvanic isolator has an ultra low profile and compact design that’s small and unobtrusive enough to fit almost anywhere, measuring only 100 x 100mm square, and less than 35mm high (including studs), it's a fraction of the size of competing models, thanks to the use of FlatPac semiconductors.

Simple Fitting

Fitting a this Galvanic isolator is simple, well within the ability of a competent DIYer. Wiring is via 2 simple 5mm studs, which connect into your boat’s earthing system. Wiring diagram supplied. Installation does NOT entail working with live electrics.

ULTRA Low Profile

Designed to fit just about anywhere, with built in Status Alert LEDs, and an extremely small footprint, this model uses FlatPac semiconductors to give a height (including studs) of about 30mm (1.4")

Suitable for fitting to any flat surface using screws, or may be attached using mastic or double sided tape to avoid drilling. It's ideal for fitting to panels, or in lockers/engine bays etc. Not intended for fitting externally or in wet environments. 

AC Bypass Capacitor

This isolator is fitted with an AC Bypass Capacitor, which is an essential component for the correct operation of any Galvanic isolator, ensuring that your isolator works at optimum efficiency at all times.

This model offers EXTRA Protection over standard Galvanic isolators.

The most obvious benefit is the Status Alert Indicator, which constantly monitors your boats earth connection for faults that could lead to corrosion of the hull, or even life threatening mains voltage earth leakage faults.

Bright, easy to read indicators warn you immediately a problem is detected.

Extra Protection. Under the bonnet, there is our "2-stage Protection System", which protects your boat against electrical noise, earth leakage and Galvanic Voltages up to twice as high as a normal Galvanic isolator.

How It Works...

Check your earthing at a glance.

Both Lights OFF: Your Galvanic isolator is operating normally. No action required - just check back occasionally to ensure that all's well.

BOTH lights ON: If both lights are ON, this indicates AC leakage, usually from the mains wiring or a connected appliance. AC leakage can be a danger to life. Please see instructions for help in rectifying the problem.

One Light ON: If either of the lights are on, it indicates DC leakage. This can cause severe corrosion to your boat. Our instructions give simple advice on how to resolve the problem.

This Galvanic isolator is designed to STOP Galvanic AND Leakage currents in their tracks, whilst ensuring that the safety electrical earth is unaffected, so you remain FULLY PROTECTED from electrical faults.
