Product Description: High performance plug-in galvanic isolator with built-in tester and earth monitoring. This innovative device offers continuous, automatic checks of your boat’s earthing system, effectively preventing galvanic corrosion and detecting hazardous earth leakage faults. The integrated tester also allows for easy testing without the need for disconnection, streamlining maintenance. Say goodbye to external test equipment and the hassle of removing the isolator for checking.
The problem with a conventional Galvanic isolator is that it’s a “Passive” device, so how do you know it’s working, (or more importantly, if it’s not)? Our latest galvanic isolator has a built in tester, so you can check that your isolator is doing its job without any test equipment, and without removing the isolator from the boat. We believe this feature to be unique.
Key Benefits
Protects boat components: Prevents the rapid corrosion of anodes, propellers, shafts, and hulls.
• Built In Tester: Test your isolator in seconds. No need for test equipment or removing the isolator from the boat.
• Simple to Fit: Simply plugs into electric hookup cable. No tools or electrical knowledge required.
• Easy to use: Status is visible at a glance. Instant warnings of all types of Earth Leakage.
• Enhanced safety: Provides a vital warning about dangerous AC earth leakage faults.

Features
• Galvanic corrosion protection: Completely blocks low-level direct current (DC) from shore power cable, prevents corrosion of underwater metal parts like propellers, outboards, Saildrives etc..
• Stray current and earth leakage monitoring: Goes beyond simple isolation by monitoring the entire earthing system for highly corrosive DC currents, and dangerous AC leakage, which can be a significant safety hazard.
• Built-in tester: A simple test confirms the isolator is working and the earthing system is properly connected.
• Visual alerts: Integrated LEDs provide an at-a-glance status check of the earthing system.
• AC Bypass Capacitor: Crucial for preventing electrical interference and leakage from affecting your isolator’s performance.
The isolator is fitted with two high intensity LED’s, which work in two Modes…
In “Normal” mode

Both lights off: The system is operating normally.
One light on: Indicates a DC leakage fault, which can cause severe corrosion.
Both lights on: Indicates an AC leakage fault, which is a potential danger to life and needs immediate attention.
In “Test” mode
Your isolator comes with a magnetic “button” that you hold close to perform the test. Once you remove the magnetic “button,” the isolator will revert to “Normal” mode.

One light on: Test successful – your boat is protected.
Both lights off: Test fail. Boat wiring or Galvanic isolator faulty.
AC Bypass Capacitor

Most boats, even new ones, can experience some degree of electrical leakage or interference. We install an AC bypass capacitor to prevent this leakage and interference from affecting your isolator’s performance.
Status Monitor

Earth Leakage Detection: DC Earth leakage can cause severe corrosion very quickly, and AC Earth Leakage is potentially lethal. Status indicators constantly monitor both AC and DC leakage. If your vessel has earth leakage problems the lights warn you instantly.
Both Lights OFF: Your Galvanic isolator is operating normally.
One Light ON: DC leakage. Can cause severe & rapid corrosion. Instructions give simple advice on how to resolve the problem.
BOTH lights ON: Indicates AC leakage. AC leakage can be a danger to life. Instructions give simple steps to help rectify the problem.
Simple Installation
Installation takes about 30 seconds. No tools or technical skills are required. Just connect to the electric hookup cable at the end that’s most convenient for you. Image shows it attached at the shore end, but it works equally well at the boat end, if you prefer.
• Built In Tester
• Standard 16a connectors
• Status Alert Indicators
• AC Bypass Capacitor
• Maintenance Free
• 30 Seconds to Fit
